Just tried to buy a Spirit Ticket at BOS airport as I was there anyhow, travelling Spirit and dropping off a checked bag. I must warn you, though. The passenger usage fee/charge is really part of the fare but the airline can avoid designating it as part of the fare as long as it is something passengers can avoid and is optional.
