Sometimes the flavor is decent, but you can't blow a bubble if your life depended on it. This brings back sweet memories to me. The gum itself was Hot Pink in color and had the most unique flavor. I lived on Herbert a mile away from school the flavor was delicious and lasting. Not the artificial stuff they call cinnamon now, but actual ground cinnamon. We miss the memories that are brought back with the familiar smell and taste. Every time I ask somebody if they remember Chum Gum they look at me like I'm crazy. Loved the smell, loved the taste. There has never been before or after that is better that Chum Gum. Mint Juleps and Banana Splits were both made by NECCO who, sadly, went out of business.
